RMR RECRUITING POLICY

What does this mean?
  • No one expect your current club can offer you a position prior to July 5th.
  • You have 72 hours to revoke your contract in writing without penalty.  So, if you feel you were pressured to sign a contract right now but you decide within 72 hours that you don't want to be part of that club you can do so without penalty.
  • After 72 hours and prior August 1st you can still revoke your contract, but the club can keep up to $500 of any money paid.
  • You will be given at least 72 hours to decide. This allows you to not get the "If you leave the gym without signing you will not have a spot treatment". However, if you would like to sign immediately you are free to and can still revoke within 72 hours as stated above.
If you have a club that does not follow the below rules or offers you a position on a team prior to the allowed date you should walk away and report them to your current director and/or the RMR immediately. If the club you are considering joining does not follow these guidelines it means they cannot be trusted and it lays the groundwork for similar behavior in the future.

The exact wording of the guideline is below.
